Services

Custom hardware, proven one at a time.

We start with a short study of the task and the space, then prove one working version on site before anything is rolled out. We specify and integrate the parts; we do not manufacture them.

Whichever service the work turns out to be, it runs under one of four commercial structures. We’ll recommend the smallest one that fits, on the first call.

How we structure engagements

Scope

What this division does, and where it stops.

Everything in the hardware we design: its sensors and actuators, the controllers and processing that run it, and the screens the people using it see, up to the systems it reports to.

Custom Software
We connect the hardware to the systems it reports to. Building or changing those systems (the application that stores what the hardware produces, reasons about it and shows it to somebody) is the software division.
IT & Managed Services
Sensors, actuators and controllers that are part of hardware we design are ours. General-purpose end-user computing (laptops, workstations, the estate your staff log into) is the IT division, including its sourcing and disposal.
Cybersecurity
We put the hardware on networks and program it. Testing whether that network and those controls hold up belongs to the cybersecurity division, and deliberately so, because a team should not be the independent assessor of its own build.

Next step

Not sure which of these you need?

Tell us which physical task you want handled and what is in the room today. The first answer is sometimes that one sensor on equipment you already have does most of it.

Reply
A person replies, not a sequence: within one business day, from someone who would be on the engagement.
