Usage and billing
1 to 30 September 2026, day 11 of 30. Amounts in USD: actuals to the cent, projections to the dollar.
Events ingested stopped reporting at 14:20 UTC on 8 September.
The projection leaves that meter out, and the invoice holds its line. Meterbox keeps every event, and backfills the usage once the meter reports again.

The Meters section carries every rate
Issuing opens on 1 October, once the period closes.
Design notes
- Shape of the page
- A side rail, an account bar that stays put, and one work area. A billing operator comes back to this screen every week and moves between four places in it.
- What it leads with
- Four figures for the period, each with what it is being compared against, and the forecast taking the larger panel. The meters and the invoice sit under them as the evidence.
- Spacing
- Tight. Small controls, small secondary text, and figures set in one width so columns of numbers line up.
- The one bold decision
- One colour, used as a set of jobs rather than as decoration. The same accent, at six defined strengths, marks a hovered item, the current item, the rule around the figures, a filled button, a link, and the billed part of a meter. Nothing else on the page is tinted.

The billed segment
- Where the colour comes from
- Radix publishes thirty-one hues, each already worked out as a scale from a faint tint to a deep ink. The page takes one of them whole rather than mixing shades by eye, and takes its neutrals from shadcn's own set.
- Why this hue and not blue
- A filled button has to carry white text at the accessibility floor of 4.5. Only five of the thirty-one hues manage it. Iris measures 5.37:1 and clears it comfortably; the obvious blue measures 3.26:1 and fails at this label size.
- Readability, measured
- White on the filled button: 5.37:1, against a floor of 4.5.
All secondary text: 4.83:1 light and 7.58:1 dark, against 4.5.
The meter fill: 4.88:1, against the floor of 3 a drawn mark needs.
An accent link: 6.07:1, against 4.5. - The two meter segments
- Within allowance against billed is the one pair on the page that two colours alone do not separate. So a gap of empty track sits between the segments, and the percentage, the money and the full mark all repeat in words what the colour says.
- What stays at the default
- The corner radius is shadcn's own, untouched. The difference here is carried by colour, by the absence of shadow, by rules in place of boxes, and by a typewriter voice for every figure.
- What we changed
- Radix names a particular step for the ring that marks the focused control. Measured, it is too faint to see against white, so the ring takes a deeper step in the light theme and a lighter one in the dark. The same is true of shadcn's default border, which is fine for ruling between rows and too faint to bound a control, so anything a reader can click is bounded by something they can see.
- The second state
- One reading where a meter stopped reporting. All four figures swap to the versions that exclude it, so no number on the page counts a meter the notice says is missing. The meter shows its last count rather than a zero, and the invoice holds that line rather than billing it at nothing. Zero, held, and not yet calculated are three different marks.
