Every bar shares one domain of 150,000 USD, so the lengths rank across rows. A dash means nobody gave a value. A dashed box means nobody has worked one out yet. A 0 is a pilot that carries no fee. A date carries its own reading against today: one has run out, one falls today.

Three blocked tasks carry no date; eleven more fall in this week and keep moving. Clearing the filter opens the list on the four due first.

Design notes
- Shape of the page
- A folding side rail against one work area, so the pipeline keeps the full width at every screen size.
- What it leads with
- The table. Every figure on the page can be traced back to a row, and the charts follow the table rather than argue with it.
- Spacing
- Tight, on the console setting. This is a screen somebody works in all day, and more rows in view is worth more than more air.
- The one bold decision
- A reading ladder of four sizes (micro, small, datum and body) where datum is reserved for the size a value is read at. No vendor system names that size. And three separate marks for the three ways a number can be missing.
The five decisions behind it
- The ground
- The cool near-white of a drawing sheet, and near-black at night. Rules divide it, and a box appears only around something that really is a container.
- How much colour
- Three. Navy carries every neutral, and one blue carries the single main action on a screen. One red marks the thing a reader must not miss. Status marks sit outside that budget and mean nothing else.
- The hardest surface
- The page ground itself, in both themes. Every kind of text and every rule is measured against it, and each clears its own accessibility floor with room to spare.
- How absence is drawn
- A zero is a zero, written out. A long dash means nobody gave a value. A dashed outline means nobody has worked one out yet. Three different facts, three different marks.
- The signature object
- A dimension line, drawn against a stated range with a tick at each end. The same object ends the sorted column, marks the current destination, and marks today on the week.
Where the colour comes from
Nobody picked a colour on this page. The house system works out, for each role, the lightest version that is still comfortably readable on the darkest surface it can land on, and writes the result out. The page then uses those values and edits none of them.
Readability, measured
- Column headings
- 6.84:1 light, 8.43:1 dark, at the smallest size on the page.
- Values in a cell
- 12.17:1 light, 13.98:1 dark.
Higher is easier to read, and 4.5 is the accessibility floor for text.
What we added
- Light and dark
- Both themes are declared together, once, rather than as two copies of the same palette. A second copy is the copy that drifts.
- Series names
- The house chart writes a series name in that series' own colour. Those colours suit a line rather than a word. Here the two names take the page's text colour, and the line ending beside each one carries the identity.
- Form controls
- The house console does not yet publish text fields and menus, so this page draws its own from the same underlying values.
